This is a 6-hour workshop with additional hour allotted for lunch. Yoga teachers earn 6 CEUs for this program. Lunch will be on your own.

Dr. Christen Scott is a clinical psychologist who no longer practices traditional psychotherapy. After receiving her doctorate in 1999, she worked in a variety of settings and with a range of psychological issues and disorders as well as with marriage and family therapy.That has created who she is and the work she does today is related directly to her training as a yoga instructor and trainer. Dr. Scott is an avid student of yoga philosophy and meditation, especially how they relate to healing mental distress.
After years of study and mentorship, she became an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500, Yoga Alliance). Blending these two worlds of psychotherapy and yoga has resulted in her brand, the Yoga Shrink: an incorporation of yoga philosophy and mindfulness in a mental health framework. Her coaching philosophy is that you know what you want and already have everything you need.
She will guide you to discover the answers for yourself through thoughtful, powerful questions. Her intention in working with you is to help you see that you are a powerful creator of your life. Dr. Scott will offer you tools to take action to help you step into your BEST life.
