Kirsten Holmson

Kirsten has been an avid yoga practitioner since 2000, when she sought a path to compliment her graduate studies in Integral Psychology. She began her formal yoga teacher training in 2010 with her teacher Deborah Williamson and received her 500 hour certification in 2013. Kirsten's practice and teaching have been greatly influenced by her studies in personal transformation and mindful living. Her approach to running a yoga studio is based in community and servant leadership. Kirsten has also trained in trauma-sensitive yoga, mindful resilience for trauma recovery, yoga for anxiety, and reiki.

Kirsten Holmson instructs the following:
  • Power Vinyasa
  • Vinyasa is a dynamic series of sequenced postures that “flow” together. This powerful yoga class is designed to make you move, stretch, strengthen, sweat, take off unwanted pounds, and burn away toxins. If you’re looking for an eye-opening, fun-loving, energetic yoga class, this is where you belong.

  • Long, Slow, Deep
  • Long, slow and deep stretches will take your body to the next level of release, and will help you find balance, stability and flexibility. The entire class involves holding seated postures for 3-5 minutes, releasing muscle tension.

  • Black Friday Burn and Bliss
  • After indulging on Thanksgiving, burn some serious calories and then unwind in this special “Black Friday” class!
Make room for left-overs and avoid aggressive shopping!

Spend an hour and a half with your friends sweating, laughing, and feeling the burn! The first hour will be POWER YOGA followed by a half hour of more restorative yoga, leading you toward a blissful state.

This class fills up quickly. You don't want to miss it!

    Cost: $15

  • Thanksgiving Day Gratitude Flow
  • Give Thanks and Give Back!

Join us for a special Thanksgiving Day Karma Class benefitting The Neighbors' Place.

The Neighbors’ Place (TNP) is a homegrown community center providing a hand up to residents of Marathon County and the surrounding communities. In 1989, TNP was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization after nearly a decade of effort by members of several area churches that came together to address some of the needs they saw in our community. Their mission is a simple one: to be “People Helping People.” We are here to work collaboratively, listen respectfully, and care actively – treating everyone who comes through our doors with dignity.

Together we have raised well over $6000 for the Neighbors Place through this event. It has become a holiday tradition for many to attend class and give back to our community. We hope you'll join us!

Class size is limited to 24.

Suggested donation: $15 (can be pre-paid online)

If you prefer to donate the day of the event, please be sure to register online to hold your space. This event always fills to capacity.
